Samsung Galaxy Tab Hits Verizon on November 11th For $599

We’ve been talking about Samsung’s Galaxy Tab for quite a while now and today we finally get some news: Verizon Wireless will begin selling the sleek new Tab on November 11th for $599.99. What’s interesting about the announcement is that no subsidized price was announced. On the surface, the Tab’s $599 price tag is a bit below the similarly-equipped iPad 3G’s $639; but considering the iPad is a much larger device and many were expecting a subsidized price (with contract) for the Galaxy Tab, it will be interesting to see how this plays out with consumers. We’ve been fans of Samsung’s Galaxy S phones for quite a while and are excited to get our hands on the Tab so we can put it through its paces; we’ll have an in-depth review as soon as we get our unit. For now, check out the press release and high-res images after the break…
