I don’t really care if my phone is the slimmest. Thin usually comes at the expense of other features, like keyboards or battery size. If you read my review of the Motorola Defy, one other feature often over looked is ruggedness, especially if your super slim phone is made out of glass on BOTH sides… Just sayin…
Well now Casio is bringing some Mil Spec ruggedness to the Verizon party with its G’zOne Commando, a silly name for a device that looks like it could be a bouncer at a smartphone night club.
With MANY of my friends having destroyed devices through drops and plunges underwater, I think many could benefit from a device that is designed for rough handling, even if they aren’t seeing combat.
