Android On your TV
A company called Always Innovating has come up with a cool solution to give you Android on your TV without the need for a set-top box. The HDMI Dongle is basically Android on a stick – simply plug it into the HDMI port on your TV and you’re good to go. The Dongle itself features an onboard processor, RAM and support for MicroSD storage – it has WiFi, Bluetooth and is basically a mini Android-running computer. A remote is also included, making it easy to navigate, includes voice recognition and NFC support as well. You can run your favorite Android apps, browse the web, stream media–almost everything you can do on favorite Android device, without the burden of a 2 year commitment. The first dongle is set to hit the market in late 2012.
