Samsung isn’t saying much about the actual phone this new processor will power, but apparently they were just too excited about this new quad to keep it quiet any longer.

Called the Exynos 4 Quad, it’s built on a 32nm HKMG process, and each core is clocked at 1.4GHz. Dynamic scaling means that each core can turn itself off when not in use.

Sammy is claiming the chip will be twice as powerful as the previous Exynos, and will use 20% less power.

Interesting, seeing Samsung deliver this information ahead of the actual phone announcement. Guess we’re still waiting for more news on their next Galaxy…
