Toshiba Arming Business Folks With New Tecra Laptops
Don’t get me wrong–I love a good super-sleek Ultrabook; but few things can beat the longevity and durability of a good business-grade computer. Machines that are designed to handle a few bumps, bruises, and a spill or two with ease.
Toshiba is expanding their notebook line up with the Tecra R940 and R950 business laptops.
The Tecras combine standard laptop fare (like Intel Core processors and LED backlit screens) with a bevvy of protection features like shock sensors, spill resistant keyboards, and a fiberglass chassis which cuts back on weight–but not at the expense of ruggedness.
Purchasing before August 30th will also get you a free upgrade to Windows 7 Professional and an additional 4GB of RAM. With prices starting at $599, these look to be very attractive options for road warriors on a budget.
Full PR after the jump.
