I like this book.

I REALLY like this book. I bought a copy in paperback, and the first time I picked it up, I finished it in almost one marathon reading session.

Cory Doctorow paints a near future which boarders on dystopian. We experience a world of crumbling civil liberties through the eyes of an  engaging seventeen year old tech-savvy protagonist.

The novel is visceral, and while the book was published in 2008, Doctorow is very much on the pulse of the growing conflict between authority and technology.

I JUST now found out that Doctorow makes this book available for free on his website under a Creative Commons license.

If you’re looking for a good book to read over the weekend, I’d seriously consider giving this one a shot.
