NVIDIA has unveiled the latest evolition of their 3D Vision line with 3D Vision 2. The new 3D Vision 2 Wireless Glasses Kit features a redesign for the 3D glasses, boasting 20% larger lenses which allows for a wider viewing area and increased external light block. The actual frames have also been redesigned to be far more comfortable than the current iteration and fit better with gaming headphones on.
3D Vision 2 is also accompanied by the new NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology that delivers up to 2x brighter 3D images than current solutions; it also decreases 3D ghosting and increases environmental lighting, making gaming keyboards and mice more visible. 3D LightBoost requires a compatible display in order to function.

As we’ve said in many of our reviews, so much of how we feel about a product comes down to managing our expectations; and when it comes to our portable devices (ie: iPhones, iPads and Android devices), let’s face it: We don’t expect much in the audio department. Well, the folks at Harman know a thing or two about audio–and they don’t think that being on-the-go means that you should sacrifice audio quality…so they’ve introduced the JBL On Tour iBT. This small, portable speaker not only offers Bluetooth connectivity, but a rechargeable battery as well–and also promises audio quality on par with much larger and more expensive speaker solutions. Whether it’s watching a movie on your iPad or even hosting a conference call in your office, the On Tour iBT will have you covered. The JBL On Tour retails for $199, and we’ll have our full review as soon as we get our hands on one; until then, check after the jump for more info and the full PR…

If you’re lucky enough to own Bowers & Wilkins’ brilliant Zeppelin Air Speaker Dock, your house parties just got a bit more collaborative–at least in terms of music. The Zeppelin Air App allows multiple iOS device owners in the same location to share and edit music lists, and then stream them to the Zeppelin Air–or any other AirPlay-enabled device. The only catch is that everyone that wants in on the action has to have the app; but considering it’s a free download, that’s really not much of a catch at all! Check out all of the details after the break, and let us know what you think after you try it.

We’ve seen (and heard) many sound bars; but when companies like JBL and HARMAN step up to the plate, we don’t just shove them off–we pay attention. HARMAN has introduced the JBL
® SB 300, a soundbar and subwoofer combo that produces incredible sound with fewer components and no wiring setup.
The JBL SB 300 soundbar, an inventive and enclosed single unit, includes left and right speakers, amplifiers, and top-mounted controls; it also features the distinctive JBL Weave design to complement a flat-panel TV. The enclosed speakers use DTS Digital Surround®, Dolby Digital® decoding and Dolby Virtual Speaker technology to create a virtual 5.1-channel surround-sound environment. The 100-watt wireless subwoofer adds deep bass for an authentic theater experience.
Apple quietly pushed an Apple TV upgrade to the masses, granting some interesting new features–the most significant of which is access to previously purchased TV shows. Instead of the renting-only model, you can now access all of those shows you’ve purchased through iTunes in the past. So, my initial question was: “When will be see this on the iPhone?” Well, opening the new “Purchased” section of the iTunes app on your iDevice now displays previously purchased TV shows. As much as we love the next-gen Apple TV, the one thing we missed from the previous model was the ability to purchase content directly on the device; and even though you’re still not able to purchase on the new Apple TV, this is a giant step in the right direction.
Note: Apple does still point out that users are responsible for backing up their own content, noting that all previously-purchased content may not be available for re-download at all times.
Eagar to watch your computer content on a bigger screen, without all of the hassles of wires and accessories? Acer’s new Aspire 5755 model may be your fix. This new laptop packs a 15.6-inch display, 8GB of RAM, NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 540M graphics, up to 1TB of storage and…WiDi (wireless display technology), allowing you to wireless transmit your video to an accepting source. The new computer has yet to hit shelves or ordering queues in North America, but you can get them overseas in the UK for roughly $1,450 USD. We’ll keep you up to date on North American pricing and release dates as they are announced.
