A quick touch of the “Software Update” button on your Mac will bring a pleasant surprise, as Apple has just release an update to its OS X Lion operating system, bringing it to 10.7.4. You can Click Here for all of the details from the good folks in Cupertino.
If you’ve read our reviews of both the Buddy and the Disco, you already know that we’re big fans of SuperTooth–and why wouldn’t we be? SuperTooth pretty much pioneered the Bluetooth speaker category, and their combination of performance, design and value is pretty hard to match. Their latest release was just announced at CTIA, and promises to help you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. The SuperTooth Crystal is now officially available and offers a long list of features (including music streaming, voice dialing, 20 hours of talk time, multi-point technology) to go along with its clean design and reasonable price ($69 MSRP). We’ll have a full review once our unit arrives–but if you simply can’t wait, it’s available today at SuperToothStore.com. Click past the jump for the full PR…

Fans of Sony’s popular superhero MMO, DC Universe Online, will be happy to know that its fourth expansion brings more than just new characters–though being able to play as Kilowog and Amon Sur from the Green Lantern universe (2 of the new “Legends” characters) is pretty cool. Legends characters for PVP are only part of the story, as SOE has pulled out all of the stops with their latest DLC, including: new weapons, Safe House Battles (enemies can now attack you even when you’re in your Safe House), and new missions. Sony has really put an emphasis on multiplayer with The Last Laugh, and those of you who enjoy PVP should love the new content; but don’t worry–there’s something for everyone here. The Last Laugh will be available for download in June for both PC and PS3 gamers (Legendary Members get the content for free, while premium members will pay for the download), and you can click past the jump for all of the details…

If you’ve travelled Amtrak lately you may have experienced the new iPhone-enabled ticket scanning system. The company has begun the rollout of the iPhone to its train conductors in November, and expect to have a reported 1,700 conductors with a modified iPhone capable of scanning tickets across the country.
Olympus has always been known for its “rugged” line of point-and-shoot cameras (our own Juan Carlos Bagnell loved the Stylus TOUGH 8010); but their new TG-1 iHS may redefine what we expect from a ruggedized camera…
For starters, as rugged as it is (waterproof to 40 feet, shockproof to 6.6 feet, crushproof to a weight of 220 pounds), the new TG-1 is actually designed to take DSLR-quality pictures thanks to its 12MP sensor and f2.0 lens; it also features the same autofocus tech used in Olympus’ popular PEN line. For those that like to take their thrills on the road, the TG-1 iHS also features built-in GPS and e.compass; and users with more sophisticated needs will be happy to know that the new TG-1 is expandable thanks to its converter ring, allowing you to add converter lenses. While many cameras “claim” to be rugged, we’ve never seen a feature list like this before…and the $399 price tag only makes us want one more. What could possible inspire me to remove my Bowers & Wilkins P5 headphones in order to try on another pair? A new pair of B&W headphones, of course…and in this case, it’s the new P3. Designed to be slightly lighter and a bit more portable than its higher-numbered sibling, the P3 headphones feature the same attention to detail and quality of build as the P5s. Made of aluminum and using high-quality rubber and memory foam, the P3′s lighter weight not only make them a bit easier to carry, but also allows you to wear them longer. The Bowers & Wilkins P3 headphones will come in white and and black when they arrive this June, and will retail for $199; as always, you can expect a full review once our unit arrives (believe me, w’ll be counting the days). Click past the jump for all of the details.

This is the game changer we’ve been waiting for from Samsung Mobile. Rather than just increase technical specs and slap a new badge on a Galaxy S 2 (which Samsung still could have been successful with), Samsung has decided to redefine what a Galaxy S device is. Sure, the phone is definitely beefed up (quad core processor, 4.8″ Super AMOLED display, Android 4.0, and the list goes on), and the new design is Samsung’s most attractive yet ; but it’s what lies beneath the hardware that represents Samsung’s new approach…a more human approach. What does this mean? How about a phone that’s able to to know how you’re using it by reading your eyes with its front facing camera; or how about a device that identifies the people in your photos and automatically sends them pictures? Samsung has even come up with a way to share large files between users simply by touching their devices together–and these transfers that would normally take minutes now take seconds. And yes, there’s even a Siri-like voice recognition system. The Samsung Galaxy S II won’t be arriving until the end of this month (the HSPA+ version) and sometime this Summer (the 4G models); but with features that make the iPhone 4S seem last-gen, this looks to be one handset worth waiting for. Click past the jump for all of the specs, as well as the official PR from Samsung…
